Personal Care Support When You Need It
We believe Assisted Living should focus on the individual’s needs to maximize independence and enjoy life in the moment rather than assign restrictive, one-size-fits-all levels of care. Our residents receive as much personal care support for covered services as needed, with the option for additional assistance if and when their care needs change.
Assisted Living With Memory Care
Three of our communities—East Longmeadow, Linda Manor and Kimball Farms—offer specialized Memory Care with Assisted Living for residents with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.
These communities include our Life Enrichment Memory Program (LEP), consisting of memory care neighborhoods modeled after a typical home that provide familiar cues to help residents enjoy as much independence as possible within a secure setting. Memory Care residents also enjoy all-inclusive Assisted Living, receiving as much personal assistance as needed for all covered services—without additional expenses for levels of care.
Our program is built around the philosophy of habilitation, joining residents within their reality for a supportive life of dignity and respect. The habilitation model, developed by Dr. Paul Raia of the Alzheimer’s Association and author Joanne Koenig Coste, provides the framework for understanding, communicating and interacting with those living with dementia.
